Show Quality Sales Contract
This agreement is made between Sandra Morgan of Gig Harbor, Washington, Seller, who is also a Co-Breeder and represents all the other
Co-Breeders of this Pug, and Jade Hall of Monmouth, Oregon, Buyer.
WHEREAS, Buyer desires to purchase, and Seller agrees to sell to Buyer, the hereafter described Pug upon the terms and conditions
stated in this agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, it is mutually agreed between Seller and Buyer as follows:
1) Description of Pug
The Seller represents: This Pug is purebred; the pedigree is correct and given at the time of sale; and the Pug will be registered with the
American Kennel Club (AKC) on a Full Registration and can be shown in Conformation.
This Pug has also been treated with the flea control product FrontlinePlus, and should continue with monthly applications. Next application
due date is April 11, 2005.

The Seller will then return the Pug to the Buyer as soon as possible, or notify the Buyer of the Pug’s location.

Description of Additional Equipment
The Seller includes the following equipment and information, for its use & care:
Five days supply of food, and, information, which includes: medical records (contact Seller’s vet), PDCA information: Breeder's Code of
Ethics (available at www.pugs.org ), daily care and feeding instructions (above) vaccination record (see below) , the AKC registration
paperwork to allow full registration of this Pug, and five generation pedigree.

2) Conditions of Sale
The following representations and conditions apply to the sale of the aforementioned Pug:
Seller Represents:
A) A full refund (minus a $50 service fee) will be given if the Pug and all paperwork are returned by the Buyer within the first 7 days of
possession, no questions asked.
1. Thereafter, the show prospect Pug can be returned intact, along with the AKC registration certificate, for a full refund. Or, after
written permission is provided by the Seller to the Buyer, and Proof of Sterilization from a licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine is
provided to the Seller, a refund for the difference between the Show Prospect Price and the Seller’s Pet Quality price will be given to the
Buyer.
THIS PUG CANNOT BE SOLD, STERILIZED, OR GIVEN AWAY WITHOUT THE SELLERS’ WRITTEN PERMISSION
OBTAINED BY BUYER, NO EXCEPTIONS!
2. If the Buyer sterilizes this Pug, fails to return the Pug to the Seller, and/or transfers ownership to a third party,
without written permission from the Buyer, the Buyer agrees to pay a penalty fee of $3,000.000 (three-thousand
dollars) and all recovery costs to the Seller, incurred by the Seller in the recovery of the Pug, even if from the third
party. (Recovery costs would include monetary compensation required by the third party, court costs, private
investigation fees, attorney fees, etc.)
B) Return of the Pug (transportation expenses), will be at the Buyer’s expense.
C) Seller fully intends to support Buyer in caring for said Pug for its life. Seller agrees to keep the Buyer current of Seller’s address and
phone numbers at all times.
D) Although the Seller may not be the only breeder of the Pug, once the full purchase price, or the difference in the Pet and Show
Quality price (minus service fee) has been refunded, no further compensation may be sought from the Seller, or the co-breeders of the
Pug.
E) Any health problems diagnosed in this Pug are to be documented by the Buyer’s veterinarian and a copy sent to the Seller within five
business days. The Seller also retains the right to have their veterinarian examine and test the Pug, keeping in mind the Seller’s desire to
improve her breeding program.
NOTE: In the event this Pug is diagnosed with Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE), the Pug will be returned to the Seller so she can work with her
veterinarian and provide care for the Pug that will help the on-going PDE research projects, for as long as it is humane to do so. The Pug
can stay with the Buyer, if the Buyer agrees to work with the research study sponsored by the Pug Dog Club of America, and to provide a
copy of all veterinary records to the Seller.
All veterinarian bills incurred by the Buyer remain the Buyer’s responsibility upon possession of the Pug.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR VET TO VACCINATE YOUR PUG FOR LEPTO, DOING SO HAS BEEN FATAL TO PUGS RELATED TO The PUG!!!
AVOID USING ANY VACCINE OTHER THAN THE RECOMMENDED BRAND AND TYPE!!! ALWAYS ALERT YOUR VET TO A POSSIBLE
ALLERGIC REACTION BY THIS PUG!!!
Buyer’s Obligations:
A) Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a veterinarian, and to personally inspect the dog at the time of transfer. Certification by
the veterinarian that the Pug is healthy must be provided to the Seller within five business days of the date of sale. If this condition is
not met, the Seller has the right to confiscate the Pug and return the purchase price. In full (minus a $50 service fee), making the sale
of the Pug null and void.
B) The Buyer agrees to house and maintain the Pug in proper condition, which includes proper control and protection, exercise, training,
veterinary care, pest control and nail trimming), but ANY questions regarding the health and care of the Pug should be brought
to the Seller’s attention. The Seller will make herself available for such consultation for the life of the Pug.
C) Further, if the Pug is ever found to be abused, and/or neglected in any way, the Seller shall be allowed by the Buyer to confiscate Pug
with no refund in whole, or part. Any legal and transportation costs involved shall be the responsibility of the Buyer.
D) If the Buyer moves, Buyer will notify Seller of new address and phone number within 14 days of move.
E) The Buyer is purchasing the Pug as a Show Prospect. The Seller makes no guarantee, written or implied, that this Pug will attain
his/her AKC Championship title. If the Buyer deems this Pug is not Show Quality, or if the Pug develops a genetic defect, or
condition that prevents her from being bred without risk to itself or its offspring, the Buyer has the option of returning
the Pug for a full refund. Or, with written permission, spaying/neutering the Pug, and after the Seller receives the Proof of
Sterilization from the veterinarian that performed the surgery, the Seller will refund the difference between the Purchase Price of the
Pug and the Seller’s current Pet Quality Purchase Price.
F) The Buyer agrees to provide updates on the Pug during its show career, and consult with the Seller if any problems occur. This includes
any decision the Buyer makes to retire the Pug from its show career, for whatever reason.
G) The Buyer agrees to the following conditions for breeding this Pug: (1) the Buyer agrees not to breed this Pug before
she reaches 2 years of age (unless she will not whelp until after she is 2 years); (2) not to breed her after she reaches
six years of age; (3) to limit her to no more than 3 litters; and, (4) to spay her after her last litter.
Further Conditions
A) The Seller agrees to provide a Health Certificate with this Pug to be issued within 10 days of purchase. If the Pug is over six
months of age, this will include a Rabies vaccination.
B) The Buyer understands to avoid vaccinating the Pug with any brand of vaccine other than ProGuard 5, and that a Rabies
vaccination should not be given any closer to any other administered vaccine than two weeks.
Additionally, the vaccine should be mixed with sterile water as a diluent, rather than the solution provided by the manufacturer.
C) The Seller advises the Rabies vaccine not be given within 2 weeks of any other vaccination, and the ProGuard 5 “booster” not be
given before the Pug reaches one year of age. This Pug was last wormed with Strongid-T on Nov. 25, 2004.
Vaccination Record

D) If any term or provision of this agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, void, or
unenforceable, the remaining terms and provisions shall continue in full force and effect and shall in no way be affected,
impaired or invalidated.
E) It is further understood and agreed that no warranty or representation has been made with respect to said
Pug, except as set forth specifically in this contract.
3) Amount and Payment of Purchase Price:
The Canine Purchase Price for the Pug shall be $ 2,500.00 (Twenty-Five-Hundred dollars).
Option A Payment Terms and Conditions
The purchase price shall be paid as follows:
$ 2,500.00 (Twenty-Five-Hundred dollars), to be paid to Seller, prior to possession of the Pug.

Optional B Payment Terms and Conditions
In lieu of payment, the Buyer and Seller agree to the following terms for co-ownership of this Pug:
a) The Pug will be co-owned.
b) The co-owner with possession of the Pug will be responsible for their own veterinary expenses.
c) The co-owners will agree on all breeding decisions, such as stud dog, dates, etc., and who will
whelp and raise the pups.
d) The breeding expenses will be shared 50-50, including whelping and puppy expenses.
e) Each litter will be co-bred and co-owned. The Seller shall have first and third pick from the first
litter. The Buyer will have second and fourth pick in the first litter. Any additional pups in the first litter
will be sold as pets on a spay & neuter contract and the money received split 50-50.
f) The Buyer will have first and third pick of the second and third litters. The Seller will have second
and fourth pick from the second and third litters. Any additional pups in the second and third litters will be
sold as pets on a spay & neuter contract and the money received split 50-50.

4) Jurisdiction
The Buyer and Seller agree that the proper venue for any legal action taken to enforce the terms and conditions of this
agreement shall be Pierce County and that this agreement shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State
of Washington, irregardless of the jurisdiction where it is signed, or where the terms are violated. In the event legal
action is taken to enforce the terms of this agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to an award of attorney's
fees and court costs.
