Baby ChiChi
Look who's all grown up!

We've decided
ChiChi needs her own home. She has been spayed; is
current on her vaccines, including Rabies; has been wormed; has a
microchip; and, has been treated with Revolution, (a Heartworm, flea,
and tick preventative). She is now available to an approved home.

ChiChi will do best in a home without any other female dogs. She is a bit
of a handful, and probably not a good choice for a first time dog owner.

Here are some additional photos I have of her . . .

ChiChi comes to us from her breeder, Cindy Joyner, Periwinkle Pugs.

The long-awaited litter of two girls from Little Luke's last straws and
Mai Tai
, who were a special gift to Cindy from Florence. Unfortunately,
you can see there was a mishap during the c-section which all but severed
ChiChi's right ear.

Her Daddy  .  .  .
He was a famous boy in his day .  .  .
Cindy, ChiChi's breeder, was good friends with a lay named
Florence Prelly. She had several of her Pugs, in her later
years, Cindy helped Florence with her Pugs, by showing them
for her. When Florence passed away Cindy received a phone
call from a lawyer to be at the reading of the will.

Cindy had been showing Mai Tai for Florence, and she was not
too surprised when she was given Mai Tai in the will. She was
also given 2 "straws" of frozen semen from CH Paulmar's
Little Luke, Florence's very famous stud dog she'd bought and
had used to develop her line with years ago. The rest of the
semen was to be destroyed, per the instructions in the will.

Cindy was very excited to have received such a gift, and she
knew I had hoped to purchase some of the frozen semen from
Florence, but I'd been too late. She knew I was hoping to have
a male from the litter she was going to have with Mai Tai, (also
in the will that this was the breeding Florence wanted her to
do with the semen), so she told me I was "on the list!"

When Mai Tai became a champion, it was planned she'd be bred
by surgical implant on her next season. The ultrasound
revealed only two pups, and they were delivered by emergency
c-section, which was when the unfortunate slip by the
veterinarian and the loss of her ear.

Cindy called me and told me she'd had the two girls, and
explained the problem with her ear. She told me she would let
me purchase her, but only for breeding, not for showing. I
bought her for her pedigree, and my husband flew to Florida
to get her when she was three months old. You know the rest
of the story.

I do hope you enjoy her. I know she'll enjoy being with you and
now that she's getting older and has been spayed, I think
she's going to mature into a very nice little Pug for you.
