dominant blacks (do not carry the fawn color gene), so
she is as well. Whether bred to a fawn or a black male,
she'll only produce Black puppies, just like mom & dad.

is a "dominant black," which means she does not carry a
fawn color gene, as both of her parents are dominant
blacks, so she could not have inherited a fawn color gene
from either of them. She can not produce a fawn pup.
We are planning a special litter for her next year sired
by a dominant black male who is also NN. The resulting
litter will be all dominant black pups.
