These are our Pugs that are retired from showing and/or from our breeding program. When retired,
we place our Pugs in wonderful homes where they can live out their remaining years as a spoiled and
pampered family pet.
We wish we could keep them all, but we want them to get the amount of love and attention living as an
only, or one of two Pugs, allows them.
We love them enough to give them the best possible life. After all, they've given us so much, they
deserve the very best life has to offer a Pug!
Gone on to their new lives, but never out of our hearts, we honor them here.
We love getting to visit them in their new homes, and keep in touch with how they're getting along,
just as we do with all our Pugs.
Tory was our second show girl. We let her go home to her breeders', Roy & Jean Wenig, Sure
Sweet Pugs, to compete with her sister, Gracie in Brace competition. The girls did us proud, and
had 11 Best In Show Brace wins.
Both girls produced one litter each, and earned their R.O.M. awards.
Tori currently lives with the Wenigs, and Gracie lives with Jim & Jan Bradley, Joie De Vivre Pugs.

Fern, age 13 years
AM/CAN CH WINDWALKER'S SWEET TIRAMISU
Tira was our first Special. She started out winning from the 6 - 9 month Puppy Class, and was shown
by me in Bred By Exhibitor for all but her first and last points. One win she had at 8 months of age
from the Bred By class was a Best of Breed over Specials. She went on to finish at 13 months, and
started her Specials career. Tira was awarded Most Best of Opposite Wins for 2004 by the Pug
Dog Club of America, and also finished the year in the Top 20.

A darling puppy, Fern convinced me I had to become a show breeder of Pugs. Although she
never stepped foot in the conformation ring, she was trained by our daughter, Jerri, in both
Obedience and Agility. She competed at our training club, where Fern and Jerri often had
perfect scores, and placed higher than titled dogs of all different breeds. Her trainer, a "big
dog person," was so amazed that a Pug could be competitive. Fern open her mind, and the door,
for other Pugs to compete in performance events at that training club, which was founded by
hunting dog enthusiasts. Fern and Jerri were the first Toy dog team ever invited to DEMO at
their annual Open House.
Fern is now living the life of a pampered princess in the same home as our Tuffy. Here she is,
waiting for her after dinner "cookie."
Fern is Brooke's mother. She is the foundation
of our line. She and Tuffy were both the
great-grandparents of Tira, Rett & Cherry,
although Fern is their paternal (sire's)
grandmother, and Tuffy is their maternal
(dam's) grandfather. The two of them enjoyed
their retirement as an old married couple, in
spite of never having been married to each
other, until Tuffy's death.
