Tuffy was our first Champion. We got him wshen he was five years old and an American and Canadian Champion.
He was the grandsire of one of our girls, and great-grandsire of others. Tuffy lived to be 16 and lived his retirement years with our dear friend Penny and our first Pug Fern.
Penny called Tuffy her "Pillow Prince."
Tuffy's breeder is his handler in this photo.
Maggie, pictured here with my husband, winning Best of Breed. She was bred by Susan Jasiatis-Tripp, O-Day Pugs.
Maggie came to us when she was a year old, and went on to have two puppies sired by her grand-sire, BIS/BISS AM/CAN/Mex CH Glory's Fantasy Tugboat Willy, our Cruiser and Aimee.
Maggie was s silly girl, full of spark and fire, who always loved a good game with her people. Her "Woo-woos" echo in my heart.
Red* was my first home-bred Champion. He was shown exclusively by me in the Bred By Exhibitor class. Before his tragic death at the age of only three years. He was staying with a friend while we renovated our house.
Red was a special boy, and I loved him dearly. I still have his favorite toy.
Gracie (on the right), and her sister, Tori (aka: Sure Sweet Mountain Breeze), were shown in the Brace class and together they achieved 11 best In Show Brace wins with their Breeder and Co-Owner, Jean Wenig, Sure Sweet Pugs.
Berry* was a half-brother to Red. He became our second home bred champion and the first from his mom's second litter.
He also produced one litter for us with Tori, and we kept three of those pups and they all became champions, giving Tori her R.O.M. in only one litter.
Berry then went to Canada where he became a Canadian Champion at the Canadian Pug Nationals. He was Reserve Winners Dog at our Pug Natioanls during the week in Denver.
Tanker came to us from his breeder, Sue Christiansen, Waterside Pugs.
Tanker was bred to our black girl and also to Tori & Berry's daughter, Cherry*. Tanker has produced both fawn and black champions in the US and abroad.
Rett* is Berry and Tori's son. He produced one litter and the male, Talker was shown and finished his championship in record time.
Tira* was our first Special. As a girl, she didn't win many Best of Breeds, but she did earn the most Best of Opposite wins for a Pug that year.
We had high hopes for her pups, but she was not able to carry a litter to term, She produced three puppies that were all very, very, tiny and they were neutered and placed iddn loving homes. Tira* was spayed and placed in a retirement home with another former show girl, a veterinarian and his family.
Tiramisu's pedigree is the same as Rett's above.
Tar* went to Sue Christensen and finished in very few shows. He had one litter and was placed in his retirement home.
DeeDee* was Berry's sister. She went to live in Califonia and never had a litter. She was loved by Mary Wallace, Walston Pugs.
When DeeDee finished her championship, her mom, WindWalker's Mountain Brooke, earned her R.O.M.
DeeDee's Pedigree is the same as Berry's above.
Talker* was finished in a few shows, then he was neutered and placed in a pet home. He sleeps on the bed and gives lots of kisses.
Doggus* was my puppy back from a litter of seven. He was allowed to remain with the Bradleys, since they loved him and I could not break their hearts.
Rocky* will live in my heart until we meet again. His tragic and senseless death shattered my heart. I will add more about him as I can.
I intend to have a litter of his puppies some day. I'm just waiting for the right girl.
Scarlett* went to live in Alberta Canada. She never had a litter, but she did come to visit as an adult, and she was a real beauty.
Mer* is Gracie's son.
Xena* our Pool Shark, the day before she died of an anneurysm.
Never a sick day in her life, she was dynamic and passed way too young, leaving us all broken hearted.
Like a shooting star, she finished her championship with three 3 point majors, and four and a five point major.
Foxy* went to Canada and after he sired a litter there he was placed in his forever home.
Tyler* had one litter and is now in Florida. He sleeps on the bed and makes sure he doesn't miss a chance to chase the horses.
One of his daughters visits us on a regular basis.
He is Cruiser and Cherry's son.
Lily* is Gracie's daughter.
Cherry* was the mother of both black and fawn champions. She has a star after her R.O.M. and is one champion short of two stars.
Berry and Tori's daughter. Rett and Tira's sister.
After Cherry was spayed she went to live with our friend Penny.
When Penny passed away, she and Pippin went to live with Penny's son, Ted, and his family.
Cherry's pedigree is the same as Rett's above.
Ben* is Cherry's son.
Jerry* is Cherry's son.
Pippin was the mother of Tyler's litter. She is the mother of Melody.
She came ot us from Kelle Arvay and went to live with our friend Penny.and Cherry.
Jack* is retired and lives in New York. He is May's brother.
He was also our first Grand Champion.
He is our Tia's sire.
May* lives near us in her retirement home. She is the mother of our Renata and Jay-.R, as well as Jamaica.
Cruiser is her sire as well as Jack's.
Melody* is Tyler and Pippin's daughter, Melody went to Canada and after she finished she had one litter of pups.
She is now spayed and in he forever home.
Zamboni came to us from his breeders Jill Hagen and Kay Sisson, J-K Pugs.
He is the sire of our Jay-R and Renata, and he has also produced three champions with their mother's May's half-sister, Arvay's Maybe She's Born With It. He has two daughters in Canada, one who is a Canadian Champion, and a son who are also pointed, and more kids in Europe.
Dressi* was spayed after she returned from Canada and she lives in CA.
Ellie was sired by one of Zamboni's sons, and is out of May and Jack's sister, Callie.
She is spayed and lives with Melody's son, Garth, who was sired by her daddy's brother. He's also been neutered.
Peso* is May's son from her first litter sired by Saru, one of Rosemary Robles, Pocket Pugs, boys.
He lives in Texas with Patti and Dick Cauldwell, Bookmark Pugs.
Peso has sired champions in Texas. He's a small boy, and a real doll!
Rosemary and I both enjoyed seeing him at the Pug Nationals in RI in 2011.
Charlie* is Jeannie's son, sired by Tuggy. Jeannie's mom, Leah, is a Cruiser and Cherry daughter. He goes back to Brooke, Berry, Cruiser, Maggie, Tuffy, Tori, all or original fawn Pugs.
He belonged to Myron and Barbara Glazer, San Remo Pugs.
Hercules* is another May & Saru son, so he's Peso's littermate, Renata, Jamaica, and Jay's half-brother.
He lives in California and is co-owned by his co-breeder, Vickie Swarowski, Waski Pugs.
Hercules' pedigree is the same as Peso's above.
Jay-R* is May & Zamboni's son. He is now an AM/CAN/MEX Champion.
Jay-R now resides with his new owners in Mexico.
Jamaica* has finsihed her Canadian Championship and was engaged to Charlie. Sadly, she was never bred. She is now spayed and in her retirement home.
We co-owned Jamaica with Anne-marie Caillet, Caillet Pugs.
Johnny went to Canada and finished his CKC Championship from the 6 - 9 month puppy class. ALong the way he won the Puppy Toy group at his first show.
Johnny is now neutered and retired to "the Pug life" in Kirkland, WA.
Demi was a gift from our friends, her breeders, in Mexico. She was imported into Canada first, then the US. She is dual registered, and a Canadian Champion.
Max* was the pick male puppy in our 2015 litter.
He was shown to all but his last point by his co-owner. He now has two major Select wins towards his Grand Championship.
He sired a litter of six puppies and is now retired on the East coast.
Dia is my Canadian girl. She was a gift from my friend, Anne-Marie Caillet. DeeAnn went to Canada and became a champion with some great wins including a Best of Breed and Best Puppy in Group.
Tia* followed in Dia's foot(paw)steps and also finished her Canadian championship with a Puppy Group 1 win.
Dusty became an AM Champion the first day of her fourth weekend out with 4 Majors and 2 singles. Along the way she also had a Puppy Group One and a Puppy Group Two. She returned from Canada where she finished up her Canadian Championship.
Dusty was awarded "Puppy of the Year" by the GIg Harbor Kennel Club, for 2018.
Lola went to Canada as a puppy and finished her third weekend out with a Best of breed and a five point Major. She also won the Puppy group twice. We look forward to her future.
Kye* finished his AKC Championship title the 10th time he went into the ring at 7 months of age. His second show started his win streak with a BEST OF BREED. He finished his title requirements with a BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX over male Champions for a 5 point Major. We look forward to his on-going career!
